President's Message

Hi Welcome to CVM world.
In the year 2007 we have established CVM Educational Society to fulfill my fathers vision of achieving excellence through education. On his motto to Educate and Excel we have established the CVM College of Pharmacy to provide THE BEST Education by incorporating all possible modern techniques to make every student proud of being a part of our College.

Its a non commercial organization looking forward to develop rural education in Andhra Pradesh by introducing lot of medical courses like Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D), B.Sc Nursing, and Bachelors of Physiotherapy (B.P.T) etc to help people who are in need of medical assistance. At present with this CVM College of Pharmacy our aim is to focus on Clinical Orientation to make our students not just any pharmacy student but also a Qualified Clinical Oriented Pharmacist and/or a Junior Scientist.

As a Doctor I knew the importance of Medical Education and I am aware of the latest emerging technologies in this field. During this 21st century, medicine and medical education are evolving rapidly. Medicine is becoming personalized focused on understanding and promoting the health of individuals. CVM is proud to be at the forefront of this transformation to provide qualified Pharmacists.

In this dawning of the 21st century, Globalization and Developments in Information Technology continue to accelerate, and we are urged to find solutions to human activities that are ecologically unsustainable. As the world undergoes these transformations, we must be alert and flexible to meet a myriad of shifting needs through a synergistic balance between Science and Technology, the Humanities, and the Social sciences. Our distinctive collection of academic disciplines on one campus is a great advantage in the pursuit of such interdisciplinary objectives, freely allowing for innovation and renewal of curriculum to meet the needs of our changing society.

We focus to run this College fully automated via Internet and I encourage every student to have a PC. We are even ready to support students to make it happen by all possible means. We want to provide soft copies of all Pharmacy curriculum books (thru CDs) and I believe these would be the initial steps in revolutionizing the education to make students more comfortable with all system simulations which would be useful in the future.

Nevertheless, we would like to extend our support to the students by providing part-time jobs like Western Universities on-campus jobs and by having collaborations with reputed Pharmacy Companies. In the near future the CVM group is planning to establish pharmacy attached firms, which would be a wonderful gift for the students to gain on-site experience to transform their dreams into reality.

Please accept our invitation and embark on a journey to transform your future, a journey that you will cherish for the rest of your lives.

Dr. Sridhar Chatla, MBBS, MD.

President, CVM Educational Society
